Early this morning, Forbes Travel Guide released a blog post entitled “10 Luxury Hotels’ Dazzling Holiday Trees.” In the blog, Forbes Travel Guide lists their top picks for the best hotel Christmas trees from around the world. And Little Rock’s very own Capital Hotel made the list, right along the Plaza Hotel in New York City, the Bellagio in Las Vegas and Claridge’s in London, featuring the tree Tipton Hurst installed and decorated. The tree also got a mention in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, so be sure to pick up the Dec. 18th edition for a preview.
Here’s an excerpt of the article:
“Considered the jewel of Little Rock, this Four-Star hotel keeps up a grand tradition with a slender, 30-foot white fir from Oregon on display in its majestic lobby. Inspired by the hotel’s stained-glass ceilings, Howard Hurst and his team at Tipton and Hurst Florists chose a classic palette of burgundy and gold, covering the branches with all-glass ornaments in a range of deep reds and an ethereal gold ribbon running through the sea of deep green.” – Forbes Travel Guide
